When The Outlaw King debuted at the Toronto International Film Fest a couple months ago, the audience couldn’t stop talking about Chris Pine‘s penis.
Apparently at one point in the film Robert the Bruce steps out of a lake after some bathing, and there’s a full frontal shot that was the talk of TIFF.
But now that the film is out on Netflix, home viewers can’t help but declare it’s more like that photo of the Loch Ness monster.
No, not in the monster sense — in the sense that it’s blurry, too far away, and obscured by Scottish mist!
It’s also apparently only visible for 12 FRAMES meaning half a second.
It seems Pine himself was right — the excitement really wasn’t about the scene itself but about Hollywood’s nudity double standards.
See some of the unsatisfied customers who just got thrown from the hype train (below):

Chris Pine’s penis was nice. I liked the blurry dark part next to the blurry light spot

I think we need to see it on the big screen to get a better look. They should release it in theaters for a weekend. If you show the D, the people will come.
